Mobile phone cover made of cork material

We experimented with cork material and sewed a protective cover for the mobile phone. It is easy to work with and can be stamped. That's the way to do it:

1. we used for it:
- cork material
- Stazon or Stazon pigment stamp ink
- our jellyfish stamp and confetti stamp
- a pair of scissors
- a sewing machine
- of course the mobile phone for measuring.
To find the stamps and stamp pads in our shop, just click on the name in the "ingredients list".

Let's do it!

2. first we determined the height of the cover and cut it to size: To do this, we positioned the phone on the cork material so that the folded area just covers the phone (see left picture). We then cut the cork material to the appropriate height.

Then we determined the width of the envelope. The bag is then sewn on the side - so make sure you add the thickness of the phone. With us it was about 6mm.

3. now it was off to the sewing machine! We sewed the cork material straight on both sides at the marking. We cut off the protruding cork material with a small distance to the seam (2-3mm).

4. and we were already able to move on to our favourite part: Stamp it. Our jellyfish family got their hands on it today and now it adorns our phone cover. We used Stazon-color for this, because it dries and holds perfectly. We wish you a lot of fun trying it out!
